JSSPS cadets offered tributes to Anjali, who passed away on Sunday

The higher management of Central Coalfields Limited(CCL) on Monday constituted a five-member committee to study the existing system of management and working of the systems the Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society(JSSPS).
Government Jharkhand and Central Coalfields Ltd(CCL) had inked MoU to set up a sports academy at Khelgoan, Hotwar, Ranchi to promote sports among buddying players of the state in 2015.
Partha Bhattacharjee will be the Chairman of the committee. The committee shall go through the prevalent systems in place for managing day to day activities and would suggest if any modifications are required along with other measures for improvement in the systems for better functioning of the society to the highest satisfaction of cadets and management.
Another committee of five doctors of Gandhinager Central Hospitals has been also set up towards conducting preliminary clinical exanimation of the JSSPS cadets. The team of doctors will conduct examination from Tuesday to Saturday ( 21 to 25 Feb, 2023) at Sports Academy.
Anjali Oraon, a cadet of JSSPS has passed away on Sunday. A senior executive and two wardens have gone to Lohardaga for last rituals.
After the sad demise of Anjalui, the entire CCL family including senior officials also went to Sports Academy, JSSPS to take proper care. In the entire process, officials of Ranchi administration too played pro-active role to console JSSPS cadets.
437 cadets are being trained by JSSPS at the Sports Academy to prepare them for winning Gold medals at Olympic and other tournaments. Majority of these candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC categories who are in their early adolescence. Their food, lodging, medical and education needs are being addressed by CCL through a Local Management Committee.
All the JSSPS cadets paid tribute to Anjali this morning. The family of Anjali too came to Khelgoan and also paid homage.
