CCL organises class for 1 billion tonne coal

Ranchi, June 29

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), the Jharkhand-based subsidiary of Coal India, organized a workshop on “Leadership Challenges for Achieving One Billion Tonne Coal Production” at CCL HQ Darbhanga House in Ranchi today.

Chairman-cum-Managing Director of CCL P M Prasad was the chief guest on the occasion. Director (Personnel) P V K R Mallikarjuna Rao also graced the occasion. General Managers, HoDs of various departments along with large number of employees participated in the workshop.

Eminent speakers from Coal Industry  shared their experiences and stories with the audiences.

G D Gulab, former Director (Personnel), MCL talked about leadership qualities and motivated the workers to achieve their goals as a team. In addition, he mentioned the perks of teamwork and a positive attitude in attaining a particular target.

Further, R P Srivastava, former Director (P&IR), CIL spoke about the perks of ‘meaningful distribution of targets for all’ and ‘effective communication skills’

P S Mishra, CMD, SECL discussed about sustainable mining to fulfill the energy demands of the nation . He encouraged the audience to build a leadership quality.

CMD, CCL P M Prasad said that company was committed to inclusive development of stakeholders. He further added that grooming the youngsters is one of the most important aspect of leadership.
