Company celebrated Republic Day with Patriotic Zeal

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), the Ranchi-based arm of Coal India Limited (CIL) will build a modern and super-speciality in the state capital of Jharkhand.
“CCL is going to build a 200 bed Super-Speciality Hospital in Ranchi and company will build a 5000-seater modern library for students,” Chairman-cum-Managing Director P M Prasad said while delivering his Republic Day speech after unfurling the National Tricolour at the Gandhi Nagar colony on Thursday.
In addition to this, CCL signed an agreement with Akshay Patra Foundation and Ramgarh administration to establish a Centralised Kitchen to facilitate mid-day meal meals for students, Prasad said.
CCL celebrated the 74th Republic Day with great patriotic zeal and fervour. Director Technical (Operation) R B Prasad, Director Technical (P&P) B Sairam, Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra and CVO Pankaj Kumar, CISF DIG Dr D P Parihar, TS to CMD Alok Singh, General Managers, HoD, representatives of trade union and other stakeholders were present to grace the occasion. The spouse and children of senior officials were also in attendance.
Prasad highlighted the importance of the Constitution and eulogized Constitution-makers and martyrs. Further, he highlighted the role of CCL in the advancement of the energy security of India. He said that In the current fiscal CCL has registered double digit growth and is on the way to achieve 76 MT target.
After a span of two years, grand celebration was organised by CCL. The highlight of the program was the themed tableau prepared by the operational areas of the company. The programme also featured a Chau¬-Dance and Dog show by CISF. Similarly, a mesmerizing dance performance was presented by enthusiastic students from D.A.V School. The programme received appreciation in superlatives from its viewers and concluded by prize distribution to participants.
Earlier Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra, unfurled the Indian National Flag at CCL headquarters in Darbhanga House and Central hospital Gandhinagar. He congratulated the gathering comprising prominent leaders of trade unions and dignitaries and spoke about the emergence of India as a VISWA-GURU. He also emphasized about the contribution of CCL towards self-reliant India.
