The officer’s wives welfare association, under the guidance of the President of Arpita Mahila Mandal, handed over two vegetable carts filled with veggies to underprivileged women.
Also, Mahila Mandal members bought veggies from them. This effort intends to support and empower women by providing them with opportunities to earn a sustainable income, hence enhancing the ‘Nari Shakti’. Additionally food packages were also supplied to laborers in the colony.
The distribution was carried out by the First Lady of CCL, Smt Priti Singh. Smt Reeta Mishra, Smt Shashi Duhan and Smt Kiran Jha along with Smt Heena Rathore, Smt Dahaitri Mohrana, Smt Mamta Sharan, Smt Triveni Inamdar, Smt Nita Lal, Smt Anita Singh, Smt Sarita Saxsena, Smt Shilpi Mohan, Smt Kavita Jha, Smt Archana Akhori and Smt Annu Mallik were also present on the occasion.
The event is a testament of the association’s efforts to bring positive social impact and assist the vulnerable communities.
