Central Coalfields Limited, the Jharkhand-based subsidiary of Maharatna conglomerate Coal India Limited, met its coal production target of 84 MT on Wednesday.
The company’s production increased by 13 per cent over the previous fiscal year, and it achieved the target four days ahead of schedule in the current fiscal year.
CCL’s mining operations are spread out in eight districts of Jharkhand and the company is one of the biggest contributors to the state exchequer The company also undertakes various projects for the holistic development of the stakeholders In the previous fiscal also company achieved its production target of 76 MT.
Dr B Veera Reddy, CMD, CCL expressed his gratitude to the stakeholders and stated that this result is a testament of the dedication and perseverance of the employees of the company. Majority of the operational areas of CCL have achieved their targets.
Every Tuesday and Friday, the company celebrates Coal Production Day. A high-level team from CCL headquarters, including General Managers, HoDs, and other executives, visits operational areas to motivate and encourage employees.
