Prof Parmendra Kumar Bajpai of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidhalaya in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Jai Prakash University at Chapra in Bihar.
Prof Bajpai is Dean in the Department of Pure and Applied Physics, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur. The Bihar Governor issued the notification regarding the appointment of Prof Bajpai on Tuesday.
The notification said: “The Hon’ble Governor has been pleased to appoint Prof. Parmendra Kumar Bajpai as Vice Chancellor of Jai Prakash University, Chapra.” The tenure of Vice Chancellor will be of three years from the date of assuming the charge of the office.
