Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by offering flowers to his photograph on his death anniversary at the Chief Minister’s residence office.
Recalling the incomparable contribution of Mahatma Gandhi for India’s independence, the Chief Minister said that Gandhiji played an important role in getting India independence through truth, non-violence and Satyagraha.
“Gandhiji’s ideas still inspire people all over the world. The life values and ideals of Gandhiji, who gave the message of truth, non-violence and peace, will always guide all of us,” Sai said. The Chief Minister said that they should all pledge to follow the path of truth and non-violence shown by Gandhiji and contribute to the development of the nation.
