Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel turned 63 on Wednesday.
Besides his cabinet colleagues, senior party leaders, top officials of the civil and police administration and others thronged the residence of Baghel and greeted him on the occasion. The celebration started from home after Chief Minister’s wife Mukteshwari Baghel put on tilak and offered sweets to him. The family members were present on the occasion.
A flower rangoli at the entrance also remained a centre of attraction. Different programmes have been organized across the state to celebrate the birthday of Bhupesh Baghel.
The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi also extended birthday wishes to the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister. “Birthday greetings to Chhattisgarh CM Shri @bhupeshbaghel Ji. I pray for his long and healthy life,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
Baghel took a dig at Narendra Modi and Amit Shah over the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids on some of his close associates on Wednesday. “Respected Prime Minister and Amit Shah, by sending ED to the places of my political advisor, my OSD and close associates, you have given an invaluable gift to me. Thanks,” Baghel said on X (formerly twitter).
