Taking a leaf out of his popular Bhet-Mulakat campaign, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will now have a direct interaction with the youths to note down their vision for preparing a roadmap for state’s development.
The interaction program with the youths will be organised at the divisional level. In the program, the youth will be able to share their understanding regarding the development of Chhattisgarh, a state government spokesperson said.
The Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club set up across the state has already rejuvenated the youths, who have taken up creative work in their respective fields. At the event to be held at the divisional level, the youth will get the platform to share their experiences. It will not only help others to acquaint themselves with the project but will also help the government to implement it.
The Chief Minister will share his views in the program and respond to their queries and concerns during the question-answer session. The participants will include from all classes. The three best questions coming up in the session would be honoured and the questioners will be gifted smart phones. Besides, all the youth participating in the program will be provided with inspirational books. Through the program, efforts will also be made to make the youth aware about the freedom struggle and will be introduced to books like Mahatma Gandhi’s book Satya Ke Mere Prayog.
The youth willing to participate in the program have to register themselves in the portal, whose link will be shared. They will be selected through the lottery system. The last date of submission of form is July 31 while the list of selected candidates will be out by August 10.
The Secretaries of different departments will be present in the programme so as to clear the queries of youths related to their department. The district administration will make the necessary arrangements to bring the youths to the program venue.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has taken many decisions in the interest of the youth in the last four and a half years, reflecting his concern for their bright future and prosperity. Along with fee waiver for competitive examinations, a large number of jobs have been created in the state. The government had also conducted massive recruitment in government services with the initiative of the Employment Mission and organizing Employment Fairs.
Those failing to get jobs have been provided unemployment allowance. Over 117,000 youth are availing the scheme that provides Rs 2500 every month; the amount directly transferred in the bank account. As of now, the state government has disbursed Rs 80 crore under the scheme.
