Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday inaugurated the 2-day Media Cricket League at Dronacharya School in New Rajendra Nagar of Raipur.
Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh, State Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal were also present on this occasion.
Sai said that the event was a special occasion for sports lovers and media players. Media colleagues have been competing among themselves to get ahead in the race of news till now, but it is a thrilling experience to see them competing with each other with sportsmanship on the sports field, the Chief Minister said.
He congratulated and wished all the organizers and Press Club colleagues as well as all the media colleagues participating as participants in the event.
In his address, Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh praised the sportsmanship spirit among the players.
MLA Purandar Mishra, Press Club President Prafull Thakur, program coordinator Amit Chimanani along with a large number of cricket lovers and dignitaries were present.
