Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has issued stringent warning against those involved in cow slaughtering and illegal cattle trade.

The persons involved in selling beef (cattle meat) in the state capital have been arrested, Sai said. It is not only a heinous crime but also an act that jolts Sanatan Dharma and social harmony, he added.

“Those involved in the illegal trade of Gaumata should quit the business or leave the state,” the Chief Minister said, adding that such people do not have any place in Chhattisgarh.

Sai gave an overt signal that the Chhattisgarh government would deal with crimes against cow slaughter and trade with iron fist.
