Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has congratulated Rekha Gupta on being elected as the Chief Minister of New Delhi.
He said that the new responsibility would give a new direction to the development and good governance of Delhi under her leadership. Sai also congratulated her on behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh for successfully discharging the important responsibility. The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister expressed confidence that she would work to fulfil the resolve made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the city one of the top capitals in the world.
Rekha Gupta, first-time MLA from Shalimar Bagh, was chosen as the Leader of the House in the Delhi Assembly at the BJP legislature party meeting on Wednesday night, setting stage for her to become the fourth woman chief minister of Delhi.
