Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday conducted the concrete curing by sprinkling water on a newly constructed concrete column of a government project.

As part of the ongoing Sushasan Tihar, a statewide campaign to ensure the outreach of good governance to every citizen, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid a surprise visit to village Achhoti in Dhamdha development block of Durg district today.

Chief Minister arrived unannounced by helicopter and proceeded to inspect the under-construction Mahtari Sadan building on the premises of the DIET College. The project is being developed at a cost of Rs 29.20 lakh. Sai personally assessed the quality of construction and, in a symbolic gesture underscoring strength and transparency, sprinkled water on the building’s columns with his own hands. Mahtari Sadan is envisioned as a hub for women’s empowerment and community engagement in rural areas.

The Chief Minister visited Murmunda village, where he inaugurated 226 houses constructed under the Atal Awas Yojana. He handed over the keys of House No. 226 to beneficiary Tushar and facilitated his formal housewarming ceremony. He also distributed keys of the houses to other beneficiaries, congratulated and extended best wishes to all.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.

The Sushasan Tihar campaign aims to ensure the effective delivery of government schemes and services at the grassroots level, promote public participation, and reinforce administrative accountability. Under this initiative, various programmes such as grievance redressal camps, inspection tours, review of development works, and swift implementation of schemes are being organised across the state.

Chief Minister’s surprise visits, his presence at the grievance redressal camps, and his direct engagement in resolving public issues represent the state government’s commitment towards strengthening good governance.
