Chief Minister Vishnu deo Sai today shouldered the mortal remains of the state businessman Dinesh Mirania, who died in the terrorist attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

Sai met the bereaved family and expressed deep condolences and consoled them. He prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul.

The Chief Minister said that the government stands with the family in the hour of grief and assured them of all possible help. He said that the government would make efforts to preserve the sacred memories of late Dinesh Mirania. “To make it permanent, the government talked about naming a road or square after them,” he added.

Sai said that the cowardly act of the terrorists had hurt the soul of the country. This is a moment of grief and pain for the entire state. The state has lost one of its sons in the heinous terrorist incident. He said that the removal of Article 370 established peace in Jammu and Kashmir, which promoted tourism and accelerated the development of the valley.

The Chief Minister said the terrorists had tried to destabilize Kashmir and the country through tourists. He said that the entire country would take revenge for the inhuman act with unity. Sai said that Pakistan would have to bear the consequences of the attack carried out at its instigation.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Finance Minister O P Choudhary, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, MLA Kiran Deo, MLA Rajesh Munat and Chairman of Civil Supplies Corporation Sanjay Srivastava along with a large number of people attended the funeral.
