Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed grief and offered condolences to the victims of plane crash in Ahmedabad.
Sai also expressed deep condolences to former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who was also on board the ill-fated London-bound Air India aircraft.
Terming the incident as heartbreaking and sad, Sai said he prayed to God for the peace of the departed souls and wished to provide strength and courage to their families in this hour of grief.
“The demise of Shri Rupani ji is an irreparable loss not only for Gujarat but for the entire nation,” he added. Sai said Vijay Rupani ji was a simple, easy-going and modest personality. His dedication towards public service will always be exemplary. He served Mother India while working with loyalty and efficiency.
The Chief Minister prayed to God to give place to the departed soul in his lotus feet and provide strength to the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
