Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid floral tributes to the portrait of former Lok Sabha MP late Dilip Singh Judeo on his birth anniversary at his residence here today.
Chief Minister remembered the long public and political life of the late leader and paid homage to his significant contributions to society. He said the life of late Shri Dilip Singh Judeo was devoted to public service, welfare of the people and, in particular, the upliftment of tribal communities. He worked selflessly for the rights of weaker and marginalised sections of society.
Sai said the ideals, values and spirit of service of Shri Judeo continue to inspire society even today. He added that people should follow the path shown by him and work towards the development of society and the State.
Chief Minister said Judeo played an important role in strengthening the identity, self-respect and social awareness of tribal communities in remote regions. His efforts helped instill a strong sense of pride and positive consciousness among tribal communities.
MLA Smt. Gomati Sai, MLA Smt. Raymuni Bhagat, Prabal Pratap Singh Judeo, Chief Minister’s Press Officer Alok Singh and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
