Vishnu Deo Sai pays tribute to constable Mehul Bhai martyred in Maoist encounter

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid heartfelt tribute to CRPF CoBRA commando Solanki Mehul Bhai Nandlal, who attained martyrdom while displaying indomitable courage during an anti-Maoist operation in Usoor region of Bijapur district.
The Chief Minister honoured the martyr by laying a floral wreath and shouldering his mortal remains at the 4th Battalion premises of the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces in Mana, Raipur. Later, the body was sent to the martyr’s native state Gujarat.
Expressing his condolences to the grief-stricken family, the Chief Minister offered prayers for strength and fortitude to help them endure this moment of profound grief. “The valour and patriotism of Shaheed Mehul Bhai will always be remembered,” Sai said.
The Chief Minister stated that the anti-Maoist campaign has intensified over the past year, with security forces registering significant victories against left-wing extremism. Reiterating his government’s unwavering resolve, he said, “We shall fulfil our commitment to completely eradicate Naxalism by March 2026.”
He assured that the martyrdom of soldiers would not go in vain and that the government would stand firmly with the families of the martyrs, extending all possible support. “The sacrifice of Constable Solanki Mehul Bhai reflects the highest tradition of valour and dedication to the nation,” he added.
Chhattisgarh Home Minister Vijay Sharma, MLAs Motilal Sahu and Purandar Mishra, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam, along with a large number of public representatives, officials, and citizens, were present to pay their respects.
