Even as the third and final phase of Sushasan Tihar (festival of good governance) starts today, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will start paying surprise visit to any village to note down public opinion about the government on ground zero.

A state government spokesperson said the chopper carrying the Chief Minister would land in any district from today. “The Chief Minister will meet common people and redress their grievances on the spot itself,” the spokesperson said, adding that he will meet villagers and take feedback on schemes launched by the government.

The visit will be confidential but will be known to some top authorities for administrative and security reasons. The Chief Minister will also visit Samadhan camps and take feedback on schemes from people.

The state-wide Sushasan Tihar started on April 8 to address and resolve the grievances of the public besides interacting with them directly. The Sushasan Tihar, which will be organized in three phases, will run till May 31, 2025.

In the first phase, from April 8 to April 11, applications were taken directly from the general public in the offices of Gram Panchayats and Urban Bodies. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people about Sushasan Tihar, and people had responded by dropping their applications related to their problems and in the Samadhan Box installed in the Gram Panchayat and Nagar Panchayat offices.
