Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will spend five and a half hours in the Nava Raipur on Wednesday to chair review meetings.
The upcoming new capital city of Chhattisgarh, Nava Raipur houses the state mantralaya, secretariat, police headquarters and other government establishments. Sai will reach police headquarters on Wednesday at 11.30 am and chair a high-level meeting.
According to officials, he will review the performance of the police department ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s proposed visit on Friday. Shah will hold a meeting with the officials to take stock of the process of operations going on against the left-win extremists in southern parts of the state.
The Chief Minister will remain in the police headquarters for two hours before reaching mantralaya. Sai will hold review meetings of different departments before returning to the city at 5 pm, the officials said.
Sai is also scheduled to meet Governor Ramen Deka on Wednesday at 8 pm. An hour has been reserved for the meeting of the Governor and the Chief Minister.
