Chhattisgarh State Fencing Association (CSFA) officials today reached the residence of late woman national fencing player Ms Bharti Sahu and met the bereaved family members.
The officials expressed condolences on her sudden demise. A cheque of Rs 25000 was presented to Ms Bharti Sahu’s father on behalf of Chhattisgarh State Fencing Association, which assured all kind of help to the family members.
Ms Bharti Sahu represented the state in many national competitions in her sports career and won a bronze medal in the national competition held in Kerala. She also won a bronze medal for the state in the recently concluded National Games. With her untimely death, the sports world lost a player.
Chhattisgarh State Fencing Association President S Prakash (IAS), General Secretary Bashir Ahmed Khan expressed their condolences. Ajit Singh Patel (Additional Commissioner Housing Board), Senior Vice President, Nikhil Jambhulkar, Akhilesh Dubey, Amit Dodwani, and Coach Johnson Solomon were present on the occasion.
