Green Tech Solutions is exploring the possibilities of establishing a modern Film City at Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
Dilraj Sinha of Green Tech Solutions and noted Bollywood actor, producer and director Harman Baweja, who is also head of Baweja Studios, held a meeting with senior officials of the Chhattisgarh Government to realise the plan.
Chhattisgarh, known for its cultural, geographical and natural diversity, has always captivated audiences across the country. With its distinctive folk arts and rich theatrical traditions, the state now appears poised to transform the vision of establishing a Film City into a reality.
Baweja said, “We are here to assess the potential. The environment in Chhattisgarh is highly positive, and there is immense affection for this city among people. We are hopeful that this project will materialise and we look forward to being part of it. Our intention is not limited to Bollywood alone; we aim to bring diverse film crews from across the country and the world to Raipur to collaborate with the local film industry. This city holds immense potential as a shooting destination.”
Sharing the details about the project, Sinha stated, “We have previously worked with various countries and film tourism boards. Our objective is to lay the foundation of a modern Film City in Raipur, which will be fully operational within the next two years.”
Sinha added that Raipur is an emerging city with highly progressive development prospects. It will be a privilege for their team to be part of this transformation.
The initiative is poised not only to bring national and international recognition to Chhattisgarh’s cultural and creative sectors, but also to become a major milestone in terms of employment generation, tourism growth, and investment opportunities for the state.
