Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the first year of his tenure as Chief Minister was observed as the “Vishwaas Varsh”, during which the government successfully worked towards restoring trust between the government and the public.

Strengthening democratic values, he said, the government regained public trust through transparency, sensitivity and continuous dialogue.

He added that the second year was dedicated as “Atal Nirman Varsh” in honour of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, during which several significant initiatives related to infrastructure, social development and public welfare were completed across the state. A detailed “report card” of these achievements has been presented directly before the people, reflecting the government’s commitment to accountability and transparency.

Chief Minister said the State receives its greatest strength and blessings from “Matr Shakti”. He said the trust and support of women across the state continue to strengthen the government’s commitment to public service. Inspired by this spirit, the state government has declared the coming year as ‘Mahtari Gaurav Varsh’.

He further added that during Mahtari Gaurav Varsh, women will be placed at the centre of all major government schemes and programmes. The year will not only symbolise respect for women, but will also reaffirm the state’s resolve to strengthen their empowerment, security, health, self-reliance and social dignity.

He expressed confidence that Mahtari Gaurav Varsh will usher in a new chapter of leadership, participation and recognition for women in Chhattisgarh, laying a strong foundation for a developed and socially harmonious state.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai thanked the people of the state for the overwhelming public participation witnessed at the historic public gathering organised on the occasion of Janadesh Parab in Janjgir. Chief Minister also expressed special gratitude to Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, who was present at the public meeting, saying that his inspiring address infused renewed energy and enthusiasm among party workers and public representatives. Such guidance, he said, further strengthens the collective resolve to serve ‘Chhattisgarh Mahtari.’

He said the massive turnout stands as a strong example of the people’s unwavering faith in democracy and their support for the government’s public-welfare oriented policies.
