Chhattisgarh Health Minister T S Singh Deo has been tested positive for COVID-19.
The Minister informed in a tweet that had he had given sample for the COVID-19 test on Sunday evening after finding symptoms. The report confirmed that he has been infected by COVID-19 virus.
Singh Deo, a mass leader of Congress party, has been constantly touring and meeting the people. He was supposed to visit Sarguja today, but dropped the programme after feeling uneasiness. In the last wave also, he has been tested positive for the novel virus.
The Minister urged all those who have come in his contact to go for the COVID-19 test as a precautionary measure. He also appealed people of the state to maintain the COVID-19 protocol and remain safe.
Singh Deo said he was feeling better and had been under home isolation, taking treatment as per doctors advise.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel dialed Singh Deo and enquired about his health.
