Vice Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Chhattisgarh State Council and Director of Godawari Power and Ispat Limited Siddharth Agrawal said industry in the state had been extending all support in strengthening the healthcare sector.
Addressing a Roundtable meeting with Healthcare Stakeholders of Raipur, Agrawal stressed on the importance of developing partnerships at all levels and across the system to support a sustainable growth for the Healthcare sector to improve the health and wellbeing of the population.
The CII Vice Chairman welcomed all the doctors and acknowledged their sincere efforts and hard work for supporting the nation during the tough times of COVID.
During the Presentation, CII Chhattisgarh highlighted the activities performed in the Health Care sector all over India and requested all the doctors to come onboard and share their common issues which can be represented to the concerned departments.
Dr Rakesh Gupta, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Hospital Board, suggested setting up a joint forum to represent the issues pertaining to the medical fraternity and work for the same on priority basis. Dr Vikas Agrawal from IMA suggested synchronizing the policies of State and central government for Healthcare Sector.
Dr Neeta Kanwar from Kanwar Nursing Home suggested to sensitize the society and create awareness for developing an empathetic approach. Dr Sandeep Dave, Chairman Ramakrishna Hospital suggested bringing the health Insurance and doctors in a common platform to discuss the price regulation for Insurance in various state categories.
A Dharma Rao, Head of Operation at NHMMI Hospital Chhattisgarh appreciated the use of Digital Technology more and more in the Medical Profession nowadays. Dr Devendra Naik, Director, Shri Balaji Super Speciality hospital, suggested organizing such meetings on a regular basis to discuss more on the issues and its possible solutions.
Vinod Pillai, Director of Hira group of companies, was also present along with the CII Secretariat in the meeting. The representatives from all prominent hospitals of Raipur were in attendance; appreciating the CII initiative for providing a single platform for the medical fraternity.
