Chhattisgarh: Maoists kill villager branding police informer

The Left-wing extremists brutally killed a villager by branding him police informer in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district.

The victim has been identified as Jairam Kashyap. According to police sources, he was missing for the last two days. The Maoists had reportedly abducted the youth and kept him in the custody before brutally killing him.

The body was left near Malewahi chowk. Sources said the rebels had left a pamphlet on the spot claiming responsibility of killing Jairam. They said he was executed for allegedly working as police informer in the village.

The police are investigating the matter.
