Chhattisgarh has registered a drastic spike in the COVID cases as the state registered 2502 new patients in the last 24 hours.
Two persons infected by the novel virus died during the period. In Raipur district alone, 830 persons were tested positive for COVID-19.
The total active case in Chhattisgarh as on Sunday is 15464, according to state health department bulletin. In all, 102 patients were discharged from the hospitals after their report were tested negative.
