Chhattisgarh reshuffle affects 31 IFS officials

In a major reshuffle executed by the Chhattisgarh government in state’s forest department, 31 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officials were shifted from their present postings.

The department of environment, forest and climate change today issued the order to this effect. The affected IFS officials three each of Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (APCCF), Chief Conservator of Forest (CCF) and Conservator of Forest (CF).

The 1989-batch IFS officer, Sanjay Kumar Ojha is the senior most in the list. He has been transferred as APCCF, Chhattisgarh State Forest Research and Training Institute. Ojha was working as APCCF (monitoring and valuation). The 1992-batch IFS, Kauslendra Singh will succeed Ojha.

Of the prominent postings, the 2007-batch officer K R Badai has been bestowed with the responsibility of Conservator of Forest and Range Director of Elephant Reserve, Ambikapur.
