Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s innovative initiative Sushasan Tihar (festival of good governance) is proving to be a milestone in the direction of public welfare and transparent administration.

Under the campaign, a commendable initiative was seen in Mahasamund district. Manohar Singh Patel, a resident of village panchayat Janghora of Pithora development block, had submitted an application for making Ayushman card under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Due to some technical reasons, his card could not be made, preventing him get the benefits of the scheme.

Under the on-going Sushasan Tihar, his application was given seriously consideration under the guidance of Collector Vinay Langeh and was resolved within just 24 hours.

On April 15, 2025, the Community Health Center Pithora informed that his Ayushman card was ready and the card was handed over to him the very next day. Elated with the quick action, Patel thanked Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. He said that due to this sensitive initiative of the government, he and his family have got a great facility of health security. Now they will be able to use the card for good medical treatment.

It is noteworthy that under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman Card is a health insurance card that facilitates eligible families to get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year in hospitals authorized by the Government of India.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, work is being done with alertness and promptness to solve the problems related to public concern in urban and rural areas of Chhattisgarh. Through the card, poor, deprived and needy families can also get cashless treatment of serious diseases in private and government hospitals. It includes facilities like surgery, diagnostic, medicine, admission, and follow-up.

The objective of Sushasan Tihar is to reach the governance to the common people, where quick, transparent and effective solution of small and big problems of the people is being ensured. The initiative is not only helpful in implementing the schemes but is also increasing the trust of citizens towards the government.
