He added the objective is to create a source of additional income for the rural poor families. Under the project, 300 parks will be established in the first year. It will be the centre of livelihood for the rural people. Now taking a step further, the state government has also started the scheme of procuring cow urine at the rate of Rs 4 per liter, which is a better option than ‘Chemical Pesticides’.
Under the ‘Badi Yojna’ (field scheme), one to one and a half acres of land has been identified per Gauthan and so far, more than 300,000 Badis have been developed.
