Chhattisgarh’s temple collection drive starts from Raj Bhavan

Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey today voluntarily contributed for the construction of the magnificent and marvellous Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

She made the contribution to the delegation of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust that reached Raj Bhavan today. The delegation was led by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) treasurer Ramesh Modi and the trust’s head for Chhattisgarh Brijlal Goyal.

Anusuiya Uikey is also the first citizen of the state and hence the trust started the collection drive from her residence. The drive would cover across the length and breathe of Chhattisgarh.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Nirman Nidhi Samarpan Samiti would reach out to all the 19,600 villages in Chhattisgarh for collecting contribution for the construction of magnificent temples and other facilities in Ayodhya.

The trust had decided that it would not use any government funds, money from abroad, or corporate donations. Instead, volunteers of various organizations would collect a contribution of Rs 10, Rs 100, or Rs 1,000 from Hindu households for the construction.
