Flag-hoisting ceremony to take place at 9 am

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will hoist the national flag at the police parade ground in the state capital Raipur on Tuesday to mark the Independence Day.
The state-level main function to celebrate the 77th Independence Day will be organized at the Police Parade Ground in the Chhattisgarh capital on August 15. After unfurling the national flag, Chief Minister will take the salute of the parade.
According to the schedule, Chief Minister will hoist the Tricolour at 9 am. From 9.02 am to 9.25 am, he will inspect the parade. He will address the people of the state from the rampart of the police parade ground at 9.25 am.
The Chief Minister will present the medals and awards at the function starting at 9.50 am that will conclude at 10.15 am. He will interact with the parade commanders from 10.15 am to 10.25 am.
A presentation by the police women’s band scheduled from 10.29 am to 10.39 am will be the one of the highlights of the programme that will be followed by a PT display and cultural programmes.
