CM House COVID hotspot, 30 members test positive

Chief Minister House on Anney Marg in Bihar’s capital city has become Corona hotspot as 30 members of the bungalow have tested positive for the novel virus.

Those infected include security staff of CM and staff members in the bungalow.

Chairman of the Bihar Legislative Council Awadesh Narain Singh, both the Deputy Chief Ministers, Tarkishore Prasad and Ms Renu Devi, have put themselves in isolation as they too were found down with Covid symptoms.

Union Minister and BJP MP from Buxar, Ashwini Kumar Chaubey in a tweet today said he had been found infected by COVID and advised those who came into his contact to get examined.

The cabinet which met here this morning was not attended by four senior ministers as the doctors found them Corona positive.

They included Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhury, PWD minister, Ashok Chaudhury, Excise Minister Sunil Kumar, Welfare Minister Santosh Kumar.

In Nalanda medical College hospital, 227 doctors, in AIIMS 12, in Indira Gandhi institute of medical sciences, 10 and in Patna medical College hospital, five doctors have been found hit by Corona.
