On the second day of his visit to South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Chief Vigilance Officer of the Coal India Limited, Brajesh Kumar Tripathy visited the Dipka Area on Tuesday.
Tripathy held a meeting with key Heads of Departments of the Area and later visited the Mine View Point, where he reviewed ongoing mining operations and future plans through a detailed mine layout presentation.
Under the joint campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” and “Ek Ped Satarkta Ke Naam”, Tripathy planted a sapling near the new Silo complex.
During the plantation, Tripathy interacted with Dipka Area’s Environment Manager, Ms. Keerthi K.G., appreciating her contribution and acknowledging the growing participation and empowerment of women in the mining industry.
Following the field visit, Tripathy addressed a joint interaction session with officers from Dipka, Gevra, Kusmunda, and Korba Areas. He remarked that every “Coal Indian” today forms a strong pillar of the nation’s progress. Encouraging officers and employees to work fearlessly and with integrity, he reiterated his inspiring slogan, “Jo Jeeta Wahi Coal Indian,” motivating everyone to uphold
vigilance, excellence, and honesty in all actions.
N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical–Operations), Himanshu Jain, Chief Vigilance Officer, and other senior officials were also present during the visit.
