The COVID cases are constantly seeing upward trend in Chhattisgarh’s capital city even as it has been fluctuating in other prominent cities of the state.
On Wednesday, 1785 new COVID cases were registered in Raipur compared to 1454 cases reported on Tuesday. Durg district remained second in the list but the rise was marginal on Wednesday. As compared to Tuesday’s figure of 790, the district reported 800 new cases on Wednesday.
In Bilaspur district, 418 cases were registered on Wednesday compared to 396 the previous day. In industrial cities of Korba and Raigarh, 403 and 348 cases were reported on Wednesday compared to Tuesday’s 443 and 596 cases registered in both the districts respectively.
The number of COVID cases in Chhattisgarh rose to 27425 with the state recording 5476 news cases on Wednesday. Four persons died; one due to COVID and three from the co-morbidity. All the four victims are from Raipur district.
