CRISP must be leading provider of skilled human resources for industries: MP CM

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the Center for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP) should design and implement versatile training programs tailored to the needs of new industrial units being established in the state.

He stressed that these programs should be focused on employment opportunities and should also benefit students from engineering colleges and ITIs. Yadav expressed his vision for CRISP to become the premier organization for supplying skilled human resources to industries.

The Chief Minister shared these thoughts while addressing the general body meeting of the CRISP organization at Samatva Bhawan, located at the Chief Minister’s residence today.

Higher Education and Technical Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar, Micro, Small and Medium Industries Minister Shri Chaitanya Kashyap, School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment Shri Gautam Tetwal were also present in the meeting. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Patel and Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan joined the meeting virtually.

Chief Minister Yadav stated that CRISP should focus on providing training in specific, carefully selected fields. He stressed the need to design courses that cater to the youth and acknowledged CRISP’s significant role in improving the efficiency of staff in Central and State Government departments. Yadav encouraged CRISP to conduct employment-oriented training programs that benefit the state. He also highlighted the growing demand for training in areas such as pharmaceuticals and mobile repair, urging CRISP to address these requirements.

Chief Minister Yadav emphasized the need for a large-scale, time-bound training program. During the meeting, Secretary of Technical Education M. Raghuraj presented details, noting that this autonomous institute was established in 1997 under the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment, with support from the Government of India and the German Government. The institute operates in various areas including training, skill development, consultancy, training-cum-production centers, ICT/software development, and e-governance. In addition to training, the institute has provided support in establishing and operating Shramodya Adarsh ITI in Bhopal for government officers and employees. Youth have also been trained under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, and training programs have been conducted for major industrial institutions across the country.

Chief Minister Yadav was informed about the progress of works related to Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park, Bhopal through a presentation. It was told in the presentation that more than 100 percent of civil construction work has been completed. The process of necessary appointments and training of teachers and the installation work has been completed. Training related to machines is under process. Similarly, different facilities have been developed in 10 divisional I.T.Is. Chief Minister Yadav was updated on the progress of all these works.

Additional Chief Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office, Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary Raghavendra Kumar Singh, and senior officials were present at the meeting.
