On Sunday, Vijay Rupani resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Gujarat on the instructions of BJP leadership and within four hours his only daughter Radhika Nimeet Rupani put a very emotional post on her Facebook that today went viral across the state.

Milan Kothari, a BJP leader close to Rupani, who made the post viral, told this correspondent that not only Radhika, all the youth were hurt as there was nothing against the Chief Minister to explain his untimely removal from the post. Kothari also aired it on his Jain Vision site. Kothari wrote Vijay Rupani was ousted from the power but not from the heart of the people.

Radhika’s emotions clearly reflected in her post as she trudged down the memory lanes to recall a number of incidents that indicated how Vijaybhai was down to the earth. “Even today I remember that during the Kutch earthquake, my brother Rishabh was sent home with a member of the school and he himself rushed to Rajkot to help the affected people,” she said. Considering her nephew’s marriage as a second priority, he accepted responsibility as Bhachau in-charge on the second day of the earthquake. “He took me and my brother one by one to explain the reality of the earthquake and put us together with the people in the relief work,” she added.

The post mentioned: “As children, we never enjoyed a Sunday race course or theater. Mom and Dad would take us to the house of any two BJP workers. This was his custom. My father was the first person to visit even before Modiji visited the premises during the terrorist attack on Swaminarayan temple.” By stating so, Radhika only meant to show the promptness of her father.

“Even today I remember going on a scooter with my father on the road in Rajkot and if there was any accident or quarrel somewhere on the road, my father would give the necessary instructions by keeping the scooter upright and going among the crowd. An ambulance will be called,” she said, adding his nature is not modern, it is his innate nature. Always clear thinking and helping people.

Yesterday she read a news headline – Vijaybhai’s soft spoken image worked against him. “I have a question to ask him, shouldn’t politicians have sensitivity and decency? Isn’t it a necessary quality we need in a leader? Soft spoken image is a personality that people from all walks of life can come and meet easily.”

Any political expert who thinks that Vijaybhai’s tenure is over does not know the principles of RSS and BJP. Rather than creating nuisance or resistance, leaving the post easily without greed for power is more courageous than anything else!!
