Reviews HR functions and interacts with young executives

Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR) visited NTPC Nava Raipur on Monday and reviewed the HR functions of Projects and Regional Headquarters of Western Region-II.
Speaking at the HR review meeting, Jadli underlined the significance of Quality Manpower coupled with strong organisational culture. He highlighted the efforts taken by the management for the benefit of the employees. He also asked all to take proactive efforts in CSR budget utilisation with the thrust on transforming lives of the needy people.
E Satya Phani Kumar, RED (WR-II), Smt Premlata, CGM (HR) and other Senior officials from Corporate Centre, Regional Headquarters and Projects attended the meeting.
Later, Director-HR joined the ‘Address and Interaction with Young Executives’ program wherein young executives joined at large numbers. Addressing the young executives, Jadli appreciated the contribution of employees in the company’s journey for excellence during the last five decades. The way they used to work 15 years ago, may not be useful in today’s scenario, and thus arises to reskill themselves to remain competitive.
Today, NTPC is the most sought-after company in the segment and the trust expressed by the stakeholders is really overwhelming. Behind all these successes of the company, employees played a pivotal role and, of course, the management is taking concerted efforts for overall development of the employees in line with technological advancement and dynamics of the power sector, Jadli added.
During the last few years, the shared system has been evolved as a game-changer and now with its unification at Naya Raipur, it provides a great opportunity for the company. Further, with the functioning of Corporate Operation Services and other critical functions, NTPC Naya Raipur is fast emerging as centre of excellence for the company, Jadli added.
The session was marked with questions from young executives on diversified issues that were promptly replied by the Director-HR in the presence of E Satya Phani Kumar, RED (WR-II); A K Manohar, ED (OS & RED-South), Neeraj Jalota, ED-USSC and other senior officials.
