Enchanting Armed Forces outreach programme concludes in Chhattisgarh

The enthralling three-day Armed Forces Outreach Programme held at Raipur in Chhattisgarh concluded on Monday.

The event, which started on Saturday, kindled great excitement and enthusiasm witnessed huge footfall of over 100,000 youth and children who were visibly motivated to join the Armed Forces. Dynamic displays by Daredevils from 1 Signal Training Centre, Ghatak Platoons, NCC Equestrian team and Military Bands drew large crowd and were much appreciated.

The local populace was thrilled to witness wide array of military weapons, equipment to include Tank, BMP Arty guns, AAD Guns, Heritage weapons and weapons and equipment of Special Forces.

The event was presided over by Ramen Deka, Governor Chhattisgarh who thanked Indian Army for organising the event with great finesse, aplomb and exhorted the youth of the State to join the Armed Forces. Brigadier Aman Anand, VSM, Commander Chhattisgarh and Odisha Sub Area thanked all participants, Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area, Surya Command and Civil Administration for facilitating conduct of the event which witnessed unprecedented response and huge footfall.

Arun Sao, Deputy Chief Minister Chhattisgarh, many Members of Legislative Assembly, Senior Officials from Civil Administration and over 500 Veterans were also present in the event which attracted footfall of over 8000.
