ABPS 2025 to focus on expansion, resolve on Hindu persecution in Bangladesh and 100-year journey

The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will focus on the expansion even as world’s largest voluntary organisation celebrates its centenary this year.
Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS Sunil Ambekar briefed the press before the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS). N. Tippeswamy, Kshetra Karyavah of Dakshin Madhya Kshetra (Karnataka, Andhra and Telangana) was present on the dais. Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukhs Narendra Kumar and Pradeep Joshi were also present on the occasion.
This year Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is holding its annual ABPS, which is the most important meeting in a year, at Janaseva Vidya Kendra premises on 21, 22 and 23 March. Sunil Ambekar informed that Sarakaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale will present the report on the status of Sangh work at the beginning of the ABPS, followed by reports of activities and programs from across the country by functionaries of various Prants. Inaugural Ceremony of Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha will be held on Friday March 21, 2025 at 9.00 AM at Janaseva Vidya Kendra, Channenahalli. RSS Sarasanghachalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and Sarakaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale will jointly inaugurate Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha.
He said that as the RSS is turning 100 this year, expansion of Sangh work will be deliberated upon during the ABPS. Vijayadashmi 2025 to Vijayadashami 2026 will be observed as the centenary year. Extensive outreach will be planned and people from all walks of life will be involved in this outreach. Panch Parivartan (social harmony, Kutumb Prabodhan, Environmental Awareness, the insistence on ‘Swa’ (selfhood) and the duties of the citizens) will also be discussed and plan will be made to involve people from all walks of life during the centenary year.
Sunil Ambekar informed that the ABPS will pass two resolutions during the 3-day baitak. The first resolution will be on the concerning developments in Bangladesh, atrocities on Hindus and other minorities and the way forward. Second resolution will be on the journey of the RSS in the last 100 years, activities during the centenary year and the path ahead.
The ABPS will also release a special statement to commemorate the 500 years of the valourous warrior queen Rani Abbakka, who was born in 1525 and hailed from Karnataka. The statement will recognise the unparalleled contributions of Rani Abbakka.
Speaking on the RSS training programs (Prashikshan Vargs), he said that 95 Vargs will be conducted by the RSS this year which includes Sangh Shiksha Varg (SSV) , Karyakarta Vikas Varg (KVV) 1 and KVV 2. 72 such Vargs will be conducted for those under the age of 40, while 23 Vargs will be for those aged 40 and above, he said.
The ABPS will also finalize the plans for the nation-wide Pravas by Pujaniya Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat ji, he said.
Sunil Ambekar mentioned here that the ABPS is being held in Bengaluru after a gap of 4 years. Sanghatan Mantris (Organising Secretary) or Sah Sanghatan Mantris (Joint Organising Secretary) of 32 Sangh inspired organisations and groups will participate at the 3-day meet. President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Rashtra Sevika Samiti Pramukh Sanchalika Shantakka ji, BJP’S JP Nadda ji, ABVP’s Raj Sharan Ji, VHP President Alok Kumar Ji, Satyendra Singh of Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Vidya Bharati and many other organisations will be at the ABPS.
On Sunday 23rd March at 11.30 AM, Sarakaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale will address the press conference followed by an interaction with the media, he informed.
Answering to a question on Sangh work in the last few years, Sunil Ambekar said that Sangh karyakartas are actively involved in nation building activities in spreading work across the country. He also said that lakhs of youngsters are reaching out to join the RSS and its activities.
