Five lakh people will take an oath in Chhattisgarh’s “Lifestyle for Environment Program” to protect the environment on June 1.
The event is managed through the state’s mission life program. On the occasion of World Environment Day and as part of the series of events planned by the Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board, an oath-taking session for environmental protection will be held on June 1.
Five lakh people in the entire state will pledge together under the Life Pledge. This will increase awareness among people about the need to protect the environment.
Citizens can take the oath in Hindi or English, in groups or individually, its video and photo can be sent on WhatsApp numbers 7415781776, 9109028361, and 7415796619 from 8 am to 4 pm on June 1. If five lakh people take the oath together in the entire state or if the number of people administering the oath in the Raipur district crosses 1.5 lakh, then it will be a world record.
Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board has urged all the people to participate in this great campaign by taking oath for environmental protection on 01 June 2023.
The pledge is as follows – “I pledge to make all possible changes in my daily life to protect the environment. I also commit to continuously motivate my family, friends, and others about the importance of environmentally friendly habits.”
