Twenty One CGMs working in various units of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) including four from the Chhattisgarh-based Bhilai Steel Plant have been promoted as Executive Directors (EDs).
Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP) handed over the promotion orders to Dr M. Ravindranath, P K Sarkar, S K Gajbhiye, and Anish Sengupta at Director In-charge Conference Hall, Ispat Bhawan, Bhilai on Friday evening.
The list of 21 promoted Executive Directors was released by the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Corporate Office, New Delhi today. Anish Sengupta, working as CGM (URM-BSP), has been elevated as Executive Director (Projects) in SAIL-Bokaro Steel Plant, whereas Dr M Ravindranath, who was CMO I/c (M&HS), has been promoted and appointed as Executive Director (M&HS) at SAIL-BSP.
S K Gajbhiye, who was CGM I/c (M&U – BSP), has been promoted to the rank of Executive Director (CFP, Chandrapur) in SAIL, while P K Sarkar, who was working as CGM I/c (Services) at Bhilai Steel Plant, will take charge as ED (SSP) Salem.
