Four officials of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) were affected in a minor administrative reshuffle in Punjab on Monday.
The 2001-batch IAS official, Gurkirat Kirpal Singh will be the new Home Secretary of Punjab. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs besides Secretary, Mines and Geology.
Rakhee Gupta Bhandari, 1997-batch IAS, Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Tourism and Cultural Affairs; relieving Gurkirat Kirpal Singh.
Priyank Bharti, 2001-batch IAS, will take charge as Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training, replacing Seema Jain, IAS official of 1991 batch.
The 2005-batch IAS officer, Diprava Lakra will be Secretary, Finance against a vacant post and in addition Managing Director, Punjab Infrastructure Development Board.
