Under Chief Minister Urban Health Scheme, free medical check-up was organised for the Safai Didis (cleanliness volunteers) in Nagar Panchayat Nawagarh of Janjgir-Champa district.
Area Project Manager Amit Gaurha said the campaign was held under the leadership and guidance of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao. Under the scheme, free health checkup of Safai Didi was conducted by the mobile medical unit.
All the Safai Didi were present for the checkup. After the blood test, necessary and required medicine were also distributed. In the Nawagarh, 543 people including 238 women, 269 men and 45 children were examined and 74 blood tests were done last month.
The CMO of Nagar Panchayat, Vishnu Yadav, Dr Monia Jaiswal, ANM Pushpa Khande, Lab Technician Komal Kashyap, Pharmacist Naveen Pawar and Manoj Vaishnav were present during the campaign.
