After a short span, Andhra Association’s founder G Swamy is back in the affairs; re-elected as President for the next three years.
He was accompanied by other office bearers and executive members took over the charge at a function held at Balaji School that is run by the Andhra Association in Chhattisgarh’s capital city.
G Swamy was the President of Andhra Association for more than 30 years, but in the last election another faction came to power only to end the tenure in a dispute.
Apart from G. Swamy, among the unopposed elected office bearers are Vice President T. Srinivasa Reddy, P. Bhaskar Patnaik, Secretary KS Acharyalu, Joint Secretary YC Rao, M Srinivas Rao, Treasurer Mohan Naidu Executive Member K Vijay Kumar, d. Anant Rao, L. Rubesh Rao, p. Amit Naidu, c. Sai Gopal, B.V.S. Prince and b. Including Rohit who took over today.
MLA Satyanarayana Sharma, MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Chairman of Raipur City District Congress Committee Girish Dubey, Chairman of Telugu Welfare Society A. Srinivasa Rao and all dignitaries of the society were present. After the inauguration ceremony, in the meeting of the first executive, it was unanimously decided to re-open the Tirupati Darshan ticket counter in the presence of all the members and to hold a social marriage introduction conference on February 6.
Soon after assuming charge, G Swamy said that the Tirupati Darshan and Marital Introduction Conference on behalf of Andhra Association had not been held for many years and that it would be resumed on priority. Balaji will also make renewed efforts to develop the school and enhance its dignity. Balaji School and Balaji Mandir Gudhiyari are run on behalf of Andhra Association.
