Girls outshine boys in Chhattisgarh board examinations

Girls have consistently outperformed boys in the 10th and 12th board exams in Chhattisgarh, achieving higher pass percentages and top scores.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Wednesday released the results of High School and Higher Secondary School Examination 2025 at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan. He uploaded the exam results on the website of Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal (Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education).

The girls have outshined in the High School and Higher Secondary School examinations 2025. In the 10th board, 80.70 per cent girls passed the examination while 84.67 percent girls made it to enter college by passing 12th examination. The per centage of boys clearing the 10th and 12th examinations were 71.39 and 78.07 respectively. Children of Kanker district have secured first place in the merit list of 10th and 12th.

The Chief Minister congratulated the successful students and their parents and wished them a bright future. He told the students who failed due to some reasons that they should prepare again with double hard work and dedication and would definitely succeed in the next examination.

A total of 3 lakh 23 thousand 94 candidates appeared in the main examination of High School Certificate (10th) conducted by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. Out of them, 1 lakh 45 thousand 141 were boys and 1 lakh 77 thousand 953 were girls. Out of these, the results of a total of 3 lakh 21 thousand 299 candidates were declared in which a total of 2 lakh 45 thousand 913 (total 76.53 percent) candidates passed.

Similarly, a total of 2 lakh 38 thousand 626 candidates appeared in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th) examination. Out of which 1 lakh 1 thousand 184 were boys and 1 lakh 37 thousand 442 were girls. Of them, a total of 1 lakh 94 thousand 906 (81.87 per cent) candidates passed.

On this occasion, MLA Raipur (Rural) Motilal Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary and Chairman of Board of Secondary Education Smt. Renu G. Pillai, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Secretary of School Education Department Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Secretary to Chief Minister Dr Basavaraju S, Secretary of Board of Secondary Education Smt. Pushpa Sahu and other members of Board were present.
