Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka hoisted the National Flag at Raj Bhavan Thursday morning on the occasion of 78th Independence Day.
He took the salute and inspected the parade. First Lady Smt. Ranee Deka was also present on the occasion.
The Governor congratulated and wished the officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat on Independence Day. He met the family members and children of the Raj Bhavan employees cordially and distributed toffees and sweets to the children.
All the officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan including Secretary to the Governor Yashwant Kumar, Legal Advisor Bhishma Prasad Pandey, Deputy Secretary Smt. Hina Animesh Netam were present.
The parade held at Raj Bhavan was led by Sumit Gupta, Deputy Superintendent of Police.
