Guru Ghasidas’ message ‘Mankhe-Mankhe Ek Saman’ is still relevant: Chhattisgarh CM

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji was a great saint and the message of Mankhe-Mankhe Ek Saman that he gave had a deep relevance today also.

“Today, his message is working to connect humans with each other,” Sai said while addressing the three-day Guru Ghasidas Jayanti celebration organized by Satnami Welfare Committee in Korba today. On this occasion, he inaugurated the community building constructed at a cost of about Rs 90 lakh and announced the allotment of land to the Satnami community at a concessional rate.

While congratulating and wishing people on Guru Parv, the Chief Minister said that with the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas, the government would make Chhattisgarh a developed state with the cooperation of all. He asked the society to move forward in the field of education, stay united and move forward on the path of development for the prosperity of Chhattisgarh.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu, President of the Committee U R Mahilange and other office bearers of the society were also present.

Sai said that it was his good fortune that today he was getting the holy opportunity to participate in programs at various places on the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Ghasi Das. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi moved forward taking everyone along. His slogan is “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Prayas” which has also been adopted by the Government of Chhattisgarh and all were working to take the society forward in this direction.

The Chief Minister said that the work of developing Baba Guru Ghasidas’ Tapobhoomi Girodpuri and other places was done during the tenure of former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh. He said that whatever promise was made in one-year tenure has been fulfilled. Construction of PM Awas, purchase of paddy at Rs 3100, 21 quintals of paddy per acre, remuneration of Rs 5500 per standard sack of tendu leaves, one thousand rupees every month in the account of 70 lakh women and action is being taken against the culprits by investigating the irregularities in PSC.

While giving information about the tribal hostel for the preparation of UPSC examination in Delhi, Sai said that the society would have to move forward in the field of education. “Our new education policy, industry policy is beneficial for the poor, youth, Scheduled Castes, Tribes, Agniveers, Divyangjans,” he said, adding that the society should also move forward in the field of enterprise and take advantage of the government schemes.

Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Minister Dayaldas Baghel called upon the community members to adopt the messages of Baba Guru Ghasidas ji. He appealed to the society to move forward in the field of education and industry by taking advantage of the government schemes. Industry Minister Lakhanlal Devangan congratulated everyone on Guru Parv and said that the state is being developed under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. Here the amount has also been released for the construction of Dome. A grand Dome will be seen in the coming days.

In the ceremony, the Chief Minister and other guests participated in the flag hoisting by performing Aarti and Jaitkham Puja. The officials of the Satnami Samaj warmly welcomed Sai by garlanding him and felicitating him with a silver crown. Rose flowers along with an oil painting of Baba Guru Ghasidas were presented to him.

Sai also released Salik Nirmal Diwakar’s book “Maa ki Chahat”.
