Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today turned 47.
Hemant sought the blessings of father and his political mentor Shibu Soren and mother to mark the occasion. He said he was committed to work for the tribals and people of Jharkhand.
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) celebrated the event by cutting a cake at the residence of Hemant Soren. Union Minister Arjun Munda and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi joined a league of leaders to greet the Jharkhand chief minister on his birthday.
Hemant was born in Ramgarh. This is his second term as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Earlier, he held the position in 2013 and his tenure lasted for over one and a half years.
