Godawari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL), the flagship arm of Chhattisgarh-based Hira Group, has started commercial operations in additional capacity of 2 MTPA at its iron ore palletization plant.
“In continuation of our earlier enouncement dated 03.12.2025, vide which we have Informed about the receipt of “Consent to Operate” for additional 2 MTPA Iron Ore Pellet Plant from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board,” GPIL said in a regulatory filing today.
“Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations
2015, we are pleased to inform you that the Iron Ore Palletization Plant started its commercial
operations on additional capacity of 2 MTPA at Siltara Industrial Area, Raipur, Chhattisgarh from
today (i.e. 08.12.2025) onwards,” the company added.
With the commencement of operation of this additional 2 MTPA iron ore pellet plant, the pellet manufacturing capacity of the company stands increased from 2.7 MTPA to 4.7 MTPA.
