The Indian Institute of Management Raipur inaugurated the annual cultural management fest, MIRAI 2025 on Saturday.
This year the theme has been set on “Neon Genesis”, signifying the fusion of tradition and innovation. The two-day spectacle unites participants across the nation, offering them an enriching and captivating experience across cultures, art, technology, and management through various events.
Sethumadhavan Napan graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the inauguration ceremony. The ceremony began with Prof. Satyasiba Das, Dean External, Prof. Ramkumar M., Chairperson Students’ Affairs, Prof. Dhananjay Bapat, Associate Professor Marketing, Prof. Damini Saini, Assistant Professor, HRM & OB and chief guest Shri Sethumadhavan Napan lighting the traditional lamp that was followed by Saraswati Vandana. They set the tone for the event by expressing heartfelt greetings to everyone, emphasizing the significance of the event as a unifying platform for learning and celebration.
The chief guest, reflecting on his journey, underscored on the importance of cultural fests and the pivotal role they play in shaping one’s career. He specified how these events aren’t just about fun but; opportunities to learn, explore and discover where one can hone their managerial skills and build confidence and adaptability. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of staying true to your ambitions, exploring your strengths, and embracing challenges.
The students of IIM Raipur staged a mesmerizing semi classical dance performance. Prof. Ramkumar M., Chairperson Students’ Affairs extended his heartfelt thanks, highlighting the collaborative spirit that defined MIRAI’25. He expressed gratitude to the speakers, performers, and participants for contributing to the event’s success.
On Friday, IIM Raipur hosted a curtain raiser, “Kavi Sammelan: Jashn-e-Nazm” featuring some of the country’s most celebrated poets, including Shri Waseem Barelvi, Azhar Iqbal, Aman Akshar and Manu Vaishali.
MIRAI’25 is set to feature a number of events from the realms of business, sports, and cultural entertainment to enrich the experiences of students. It encompasses a diverse range of thrilling events, competitions, and entertainment avenues organized by different clubs at IIM Raipur. The following days will witness intercollegiate management competitions, including a mesmerizing show by the famous youth band “The Yellow Diary”, and playback singer Amrita Talukder would be hosting a live music concert; promising an evening of soulful music and an unforgettable experience for all, marking celebration of the future, passion and innovation.
